Job Summary
We have an immediate opening for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will work closely with other specialists and suppliers to bring our technology into the farming world.
You and your colleagues are responsible for the software development process, ranging from design to implementation. In this position, you are responsible for accurately determining the spray-boom position and speed with a corrected GPS system. A virtual model of the machine is required in the software to translate the GPS correction signals from the machine to the boom. The challenge is that we use the boom position and speed to correct the application rate of each nozzle. We are looking for someone who wants to become a specialist in this field of work.
Important in this position is that you communicate clearly and transparently about your work with other specialists and laymen, and also coordinate your activities with your colleagues and customers.
The job is very hands-on, so an eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the technology is necessary. And because our electrical systems interact directly with many other parts of the power module, you should be comfortable with cross-disciplinary concepts in the areas of mechanical and systems engineering/integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of engineering experience or
- Master’s Degree in engineering
- Experience with programming ( ST, Python, C or /and C++)
