Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a Cloud software engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will work closely with other specialists and suppliers to bring our technology into the farming world.

In this position, your main focus is on data collection, communication with the cloud, and setting up / managing the cloud environment. Knowledge of cloud systems, communication media, machine-cloud interfacing, and /or IoT protocols is, therefore, a requirement.

You will be responsible for the design and set up of our cloud infrastructure, the connection to our machines in the field, and the connection to others through our cloud infrastructure. That is why we are looking for a new colleague with experience in this field of work. You gather and process data, ranging from sensors to RGB or multispectral cameras. But also you will implement existing or develop new APIs.

The job is very hands-on, so an eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the technology is necessary. And because our electrical systems interact directly with many other parts of the power module, you should be comfortable with cross-disciplinary concepts in the areas of mechanical and systems engineering/integration.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 3+ years of engineering experience
    or
  • Master’s Degree in engineering
  • Experience with programming
  • Experience with Cloud, APIs, databases, and web technology
  • Experience with Data configuration, analytics
