Leap Service

BBLeap is looking for a: Leap Service colleague

In this role you are part of the service department and frequently visit our customers. You work together with an enthusiastic and driven team that care for our customers.

Within BBLeap, our Leap Service colleagues are dealing with:

    • Follow up on service requests (mostly remotely, sometimes on-site)
    • First-line contact for customer service questions
    • Technical investigation of complex service issues
    • Service visits to customers (end users and / or OEM machine manufacturers)
    • Installation of new developments (for example camera technology) 
    • Getting the most out of our customers’ BBLeap equipment. You can for example do this by giving training on the use of application maps, the use of real-time variation etc.

Job Location: Netherlands, Meppel, Rijen, and or home office.

BBLeap is on the verge of becoming a global player in providing innovative farming technology. The company was established by Peter Millenaar and Martijn van Alphen in 2019. The motivation to found BBLeap is the vision that current agricultural practice can be much more sustainable and effective. Nature is rich in variation and by using its variation we can create the leap in agriculture and start Farming On Plant Level.

Job Summary

We have an immediate opening for a Leap Service position in our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will work closely with other specialists to bring our technology to life in the farming world.

Our customers are farmers, machinery dealers and OEM machine manufacturers. In this position you are responsible for service work on existing machines but also for commissioning new installations at OEM’s. We have remote access to all our installations so a big part of your work can be done remotely. Of Course you are sometimes also travelling to visit customers. We are looking for someone who wants to become a specialist in this field of work.

Important in this position is that you communicate clearly and transparently about your work with other specialists and colleagues.

The job is very hands-on, so an eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the technology is necessary.


Qualifications

  • Technical education (MSc or BSc)
  • Affinity with agricultural machinery
  • Good knowledge of electronics and CAN-bus technology
  • Good Dutch and English speaking and writing skills.
  • Customer-oriented – responsive
