High-Resolution Spot Spraying

Plant level precision

Spray only where it’s needed – eliminate weeds and protect your crops on plant level precision.

Traditional spraying treats entire fields, leading to wasted chemicals and unnecessary exposure. With BBLeap’s High-Resolution Spot Spraying, you can map weed or crop positions and apply treatment only to the exact locations needed – Plant Precision, at Farm Level.

No more over-spraying—just precise, plant-specific application.

“The first time, I didn’t trust it. I wanted to see it with my own eyes: did this one plant actually get sprayed? And yes, the technology simply works.”

How it works

With high resolution spot spraying maps you can map the positions of your weeds or crops in the field. By uploading this map into LeapSpace you can spray plant specific, each nozzle individually on the right spot at the right time. After the application an as applied map will be generated and saved on your LeapSpace account.

With our cooperation with drone services we can provide you with a spot spray map for your field.

Key benefits

  • Don’t bully your crops, increase yield potential
  • Save on chemical costs

Frequently asked questions:

  • How does BBLeap's High-Resolution Spot Spraying work?
BBLeap's High-Resolution Spot Spraying enables extremely precise crop protection. The process begins by creating detailed maps that capture the exact positions of weeds or crops in the field. These maps are then uploaded to LeapSpace. The system individually controls each nozzle, ensuring that products are applied precisely where needed and at the right time. After application, an 'as-applied' map is generated and securely stored in your LeapSpace account. BBLeap collaborates with drone services to provide these precision maps, ensuring optimal effectiveness and resource efficiency for agricultural operations.
  • What are the key benefits of BBLeap's High-Resolution Spot Spraying?
BBLeap’s High-Resolution Spot Spraying offers significant agricultural advantages. By applying crop protection products only where necessary, crops are not unnecessarily burdened, leading to greater yield potential. Simultaneously, precise applications result in substantial savings on chemical inputs. This contributes to more sustainable farming practices and reduces ecological impact. The technology's accuracy, treating each plant specifically, ensures optimal effectiveness and efficiency for the grower, promoting healthier crops and a more profitable operation while aligning with environmental goals.
  • Which BBLeap technologies are involved in High-Resolution Spot Spraying?
For High-Resolution Spot Spraying, BBLeap utilizes an integrated ecosystem of advanced technologies. The LeapBox, a brand-independent and modular spraying system, forms the core that precisely controls individual nozzles. LeapSpace is the cloud-based platform where high-resolution task maps are uploaded and where 'as-applied' maps are stored and managed after completion. Additionally, BBLeap collaborates with specialized data providers who supply drone data for creating the detailed spot spray maps, which are essential for achieving plant-specific applications and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • How can I accurately apply crop protection products on my land?
To apply crop protection products with utmost precision in the field, it is essential to focus on technology that enables plant-specific treatments. This involves using detailed maps that accurately identify the exact locations of weeds or crops. By integrating these maps into an intelligent spraying system with individually controllable nozzles, products are ensured to reach only where they are needed. This minimizes waste, optimally protects the crop, and contributes to both higher yields and more sustainable agriculture, leading to improved profitability and environmental stewardship.
  • What are the benefits of using spot spraying technology in agriculture?
Implementing spot spraying technology in agriculture offers several significant advantages. The primary benefit is a substantial reduction in the consumption of crop protection products, as they are applied only to specific, predefined areas. This results in lower operational costs and a reduced ecological footprint. Furthermore, it promotes crop health and growth by preventing unnecessary exposure to chemicals, which can lead to increased yield potential and higher harvest quality. It represents a sustainable and profitable approach that optimizes resource use and supports long-term farm viability.
