BBLeap is on the verge of becoming a global player in providing innovative farming technology. The company was established by Peter Millenaar and Martijn van Alphen in 2019. The motivation to found BBLeap is the vision that current agricultural practice can be much more sustainable and effective. Nature is rich in variation and by using its variation we can create the leap in agriculture and start Farming On Plant Level.
We have an immediate opening for a system integration engineer to join our rapidly growing team. In this role, you will work closely with other specialists and suppliers to bring our technology into the farming world.
You will be responsible for protocol development, implementation, rapid prototyping, and testing.
This position has a strong focus on bus systems and integration with third parties.
The job is very hands-on, so an eagerness to roll up your sleeves and dive into the technology is necessary. And because our electrical systems interact directly with many other parts of the power module, you should be comfortable with cross-disciplinary concepts in the areas of mechanical and systems engineering/integration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 2+ years of engineering experience or
- Master’s Degree in engineering
- Experience with programming ( ST, Python, C or /and C++)
- Experience with Bus systems (e.g. CAN-bus)
- Hands-on, multidisciplinary experience with complex electrical, mechanical, and software systems
