How it works

BBLeap’s Taskmap Spraying for Orchards ensures precise application of crop protection products. By using satellite, drone, and tree data a taskmap can be made. With the help of gps we know the position of the sprayer and trees so it is known where the sprayer needs to spray which amount.

 

BBLeap is able to differentiate in rate per tree or on/off applications in the orchard.

You can generate taskmaps by yourself or by your crop advisor using open satellite data or your farm management system. The taskmap can be uploaded in our LeapSpace platform via the internet so no USB-sticks are needed anymore. The taskmap will automatically be sent to the sprayer. After finishing the taskmap, an as applied map is saved to the LeapSpace platform.

Taskmaps can be made with the use of a TreeScout mounted on the grower’s tractor, TreeScout contains a high-definition 3D computer vision system and edge computing processing capacity that integrates with existing RTK-GPS equipment. The TreeScout scans the trees in high definition while driving through the orchard, spraying, spreading or mowing, and then collects and uploads data to the cloud.
